Hello,
We’re Preston + Tessa Michalski.
We met while waiting tables in college, both working our way through school. What really brought us together, though, was photography. Preston knew I was studying photography—so he literally bought a camera just so he could ask me to teach him how to use it (smooth, right?). From that moment, we couldn’t stop talking. We fell for each other right away and haven’t stopped creating together since.
The beauty in our love story isn’t that it’s a perfect story about two perfect people.
The beauty is that it’s real.
It’s ours.
In January 2020,
We got married just before the world turned upside down. Our wedding was intimate, held in our church with the people we love most. Starting newlywed life in quarantine wasn’t always easy, but it gave us so much time to really learn about marriage, about each other, and about what it means to build a life together. It’s a chapter of our story we wouldn’t change.
These days, we’re happiest when we’re exploring together—traveling, thrifting for vintage treasures, skating on a sunny afternoon, or working on our plants. We love animals (especially spending time with our sweet dog) and finding beauty in the little moments. Our faith is an important part of who we are, and we believe deeply in showing love, kindness, and equality to everyone. We’re so glad you’re here, and we’re truly grateful for every couple who trusts us to tell their story—it’s an honor to do what we do.
Our Style
We have a deep passion for not just capturing memories, but creating art that you can feel. Our work is soft, nostalgic, and filmy—with a documentary style that tells your day as it truly happens. We’re always looking for the little details and in-between moments that might otherwise slip away.
We’re based in Northeast Ohio and spend part of the year working with couples in Florida.
We believe that every love story is worth telling, and we would love to be a part of helping you tell yours.
